Travel Oregon

Welcome to the great state of Oregon. With ocean beaches stretching to the horizon, miles of sand dunes, rocky headlands with historic lighthouses, lush coastal forests of fir and hemlock, fertile inland river valleys, the Cascade range with glaciered volcanoes and wild and scenic river canyons, western Oregon has a distinctly Northwest feel. Across the Cascade Crest lies the juniper and sage speckled high desert of central Oregon, the wide open Great Basin country of southeastern Oregon, and the granite wilderness of Northeastern Oregon. All across this state is a landscape full of interesting and beautiful places to visit.

To the right is the view of Captain Cook Point looking south from the top of Cape Perpetua

The view of Yachats to the north of Cape Perpetua is attractive, though not quite as stunning as the view south.

Here's a taste of a few of the beautiful places in the Oregon countryside.
